One of our top reseller customers was awarded the contract to upgrade the existing lighting at a few PRASA stations to LED.

The existing HID lighting was old and desperately needed replacing. The harsh orange glow of the HPS lighting was uncomfortable and not the best for visibility. The existing lighting consisted of high bays, floodlights, post tops, bulkheads and fluorescent fittings. Check out the LED High Bays fully illuminating an entire train depot area:

We consulted with the client to recommend and supply the right replacement solutions they required. We were happy to hear that both our client and PRASA were more than happy with the results. The LED lighting provided not only drastically improved the light quality, visibility and safety in the areas at a far lower energy consumption, but will also provide quality lighting for many years to come which will greatly save PRASA on future replacement and maintenance costs.
