100W LED High Bays

100W LED High Bays are the most popular option to replace old, inefficient 250w HID High Bays on a 1-for-1 basis. This results in an excellent energy saving of 60%. LED High Bays also offer much longer lifespans than traditional HID high bays which greatly reduces maintenance costs. 100W LED High Bays are typically mounted between 5 - 8m high. Our 100W LED high bay options are available in a wide variety of options including:

Brightness & Efficiency Options - The brightness of a high bay is determined by the lumen output (lm). The efficiency of the light is determined by how much light is delivered per watt of energy consumed. This is measured by lumens per watt (lm/w). A 120lm/W 100W LED High Bay will provide 12,000lm and a 150lm/w 100W LED High Bay will provide 15,000lm. That is a considerable 3,000lm difference in light put for the same 100W consumed!

Beam Angle Options - Wider beam angles will cover a greater area but the concentration of light will be less. Narrow beam angle options will focus the light to shine further but not spread the light as wide. The most common beam angle used for LED high bays is 90 degree as it provides a good balance of spread and concentration. We do have narrower and wider beam angles available to suit any project. 

Colour Temperature Options - The colour temperature preference of the LED high bays is very selected but typically speaking: 5000-6500K colour temperatures are more commonly used for factories and warehouses. 4000K colour temperatures is more commonly used in commercial spaces. 5000K seems to be the most common colour temperature specified for high bay projects nowadays as it most closely mimics natural daylight at our latitude.

Warranty Options - Longer lifespans and warranties are normally preferred for LED high bay installations because they are often difficult to access without special equipment. 5yr warranty high bays typically have a rated useful lifespan of 50,000 hours and 3yr warranty high bays typically have a rated useful life span of 30,000 hours.
