This SABS-approved lithion-ion battery backup conversion kit can be used on LED luminaires that are powered via an external driver and constant current. It is ideal for use with LED downlights and LED panels to provide 3 hours of battery backup when the power cuts out. It can be used for maintained and non-maintained operation.
The percentage light output on emergency mode will vary depending on the wattage of the LED supplied. It is housed in a plastic enclosure with male and female plugs for easy installation when using external drivers. The plastic enclosure has endcaps which means that a remote box is not required. The product compliers with SANS1464-22.
