This high-performance explosion-proof 220W LED Floodlight is specially designed, tested, and Ex n and Ex t certified for use in Zone 2, 21/22 hazardous areas offering best-in-class safety and reliability. It is an excellent energy-efficient replacement solution for 400W HID explosion-proof floodlights.

Depending on the application either a flood mounting adjustable stirrup bracket or a highbay hanging bracket is supplied.

Quality Components and Materials
The unit consists of a LM6 powder-coated head piece that houses the LED’s and a centrally mounted ‘piggy-back’ LM6 powder-coated control box that houses the electronic control gear. The head piece has a 4 mm tempered cover glass and silicone gasket clamped in place with a complete surrounding 306 stainless steel clamping plate, which minimizes glass stress and water ingress. 64 Internal 5000K white Osram Oslon square Led’s are evenly distributed for maximum heat distribution.

A range of Ledil optics are available to be mounted over the LED’s to create various light ray distributions as per the required application. Unless otherwise requested, the standard 63 degree symmetrical optics are supplied which creates an 63 degree light beam symmetrically from the front glass face of the fitting.

The Control Box section houses the constant current electronic driver, surge arrestor as well as connector blocks. The lidd includes captive mounted screws which minimizes screw losses and a connecting steel cable to prevent the lidd from being dropped at time of installation or repair.
